The Pocatello clinic is the oldest and most established urgent care in Pocatello. It originally start in the Clark Real Estate Plaza on Yellowstone, but expanded to its current location in 2004. The Pocatello office has always been recognized as one of Pocatello's most accessible and convenient urgent care. It rests in the heart of town, on the main corridor, and is open 7 days a week from 8 am to 8 pm. The clinic is an urgent care in the truest sense. No appointment is necessary and walk-in a patients are welcomed. We accept nearly all insurance companies and have adopted a Quick Picc Discount Membership for those who do not have insurance and are willing to pay cash for health relate services. Though primarily an urgent care clinic, we still manage chronic health related diseases such as lifestyle related diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol problems and mood disorders.
The Pocatello office has digital x-ray that can produce the highest quality digital films in just minutes, and then if needed, the x-ray can be sent electronically to the local radiologists for a second opinion review. The clinic is fully equipped with an in-house surgical suite that supports simple and complex laceration repair with all forms and styles of sutures, Dermabond©, casting, splinting, skin biopsies, initial wound management, and other simple surgical procedures. We have a limited onsite lab for testing urine samples, blood sugars, A1c, chemistry panels, cardiac enzymes, STD tests, EKG, pulmonary function testing, audiograms, etc.
In addition to a full service medical clinic, the Pocatello office is an important medical site for may of Pocatello's smaller and large employers. We serve as the preferred workers compensation medical clinic and for many employers work-med needs. We complete drug screens, both observed and DOT compliant, DOT physicals, pre-employment and pre-insurance exams, and a host of other essential medical needs often rested by industrial employers.
The staff at the Pocatello office are kind, compassionate and very competent. The service rendered in the Pocatello office has contributed to Physicians Immediate Care family receiving the People's Choice Award for Pocatello's best medical clinic now for three consecutive years. Customer service and comfort are our primary goals. We are very affordable and can handle most minor emergencies.
